Training church planters

Global Nomads trains, sends and accompanies church planters, who in turn train church planters. This creates a network of self-multiplying groups.

Unreached ethnic groups

Of the approximately 17,000 people groups worldwide, almost 7,000 are still considered unreached - including many so-called "unengaged people groups", i.e. peoples among whom no indigenous churches exist, no followers of Jesus are known and, saddest of all, no missionaries have gone there to plant the first church.

Global Nomads trains, sends and accompanies church planters who go to these neglected ethnic groups. A strong focus is on the so-called Turkic peoples.

Who are the Turkic peoples?

Turkic peoples are around 40 ethnic groups that speak a Turkic language. They mainly live in Central and Western Asia as well as in Siberia and Eastern Europe. There are around 180 to 200 million of them!

The Turkic peoples live along the ancient Silk Road - from Eastern Europe via the Balkans, Turkey and Central Asia to China.

The first Turkic-speaking nomadic population groups probably formed in the Altai region in Central Asia. Today, most members of the Turkic peoples are Muslims, the majority of whom are Sunnis.

Our vision for the Turkic peoples

Global Nomads promotes the establishment of self-multiplying networks and organic churches among the Turkic peoples along the Silk Road. This is done by communicating vision, training and mentoring local believers and forming church planting teams.

We work according to the principles of discipleship movements (DMM's) and train founders who train founders who train founders.

Turkic believers are encouraged to bring the gospel to their "cousins" from other Turkic peoples. Help us to bring the gospel to places where it has not yet been heard.
